Pre-School Foundation Class
PLAYGROUP, NURSERY AND
KINDERGARTEN

PLAYGROUP（2－3 year olds）
The playgroup creates a conducive language-learning environment for your child, so that your child can accept the Chinese language in a natural process. Through specially designed language games, arts and craft activities and sing-a-long sessions, we hope to enhance the language-learning and motor-sensory skills of your child.
Duration: 1½ hours per session

NURSERY（3－4 year olds）
The Nursery programme develops your child's language skills systematically yet creatively through sing-a-long and rhymes, story-telling sessions, language games, simple word recognition and writing activities, and oral activities that develop your child's linguistic and phonic skills. The programme will enable your child to master the basic rhythm of the Chinese language and thus facilitate a deeper interest in the Chinese language itself.
Duration: 1½ hours per session

KINDERGARTEN 1（5 year olds）
The Kindergarten programme creates a relaxed Chinese learning environment that enables your child to develop a sound foundation in Chinese and be well acquainted with the language. This is achieved via our special reading programme, language games, sing-a-long sessions, storytelling sessions, and oral activities. We will also teach your child the commonly used Chinese vocabulary, so that your child can form Chinese words from individual Chinese characters and use them appropriately. Our interactive and creative approach will stimulate your child's interest in Chinese.
Duration: 2 hours per session

KINDERGARTEN 2（6 year olds）
This programme helps to enhance your child's confidence in speaking Mandarin and using vocabulary he/ she has learnt through language games, word recognition, reading programme and story-telling activities. It also prepares your child a step further for academic demands of the primary school Chinese syllabus with the introduction of Hanyu Pinyin.
