Chinese Enrichment for Local Students
Comprehension and Creative Writing for
Pri 1 to 6

The course is meant for pupils who are already good in Chinese and want to take their proficiency a level higher. They focus on the skills essential for comprehension and creative writing.

The pupils are shown how to analyse a simple text and pick out the main ideas in it, how to identify the main points in more involved articles and passages, and how to select the required items for their answers.

The pupils are then led to describing and discussing the key elements in pictorial stimuli and to write about them in a spontaneous and original way from their personal perspectives.
