General Chinese
Mandarin for Adult
(Full-time Intensive Course)

This course is specially designed for foreign students who intend to learn Standard Mandarin within a comparatively short period of time.
It consists of six levels:

• Elementary 1 & 2
• Intermediate 1 & 2
• Advanced 1 & 2

This course covers mandarin speech training, conversation, reading, writing and introduction to the Chinese culture. Hanyu Pinyin and simplified characters will be the standard format used at our centre.

At the end of each level, students must pass a given examination before proceeding to the next level. Before enrolment, there is a placement test for students who have some knowledge of Mandarin. This placement test will determine the level at which they should begin the course.

All foreign students attending schools in Singapore are required to hold a valid student's pass from the Singapore Immigration Office. Our centre can assist all interested applicants with applications of Student's Passes, as well as arrangements for suitable accommodation in Singapore.

Course Fee: $2,200 / 20 weeks
Fees are subject to 7% GST (except deposit) and must be paid before the commencement of the course.

CLASS SCHEDULE:
Monday to Fridays, 3 hours per session

COURSE DURATION:
The course duration is 150 hours over 10 weeks for each.

TERM SCHEDULE
Semester One
Term 1: Early January to Mid March (10 weeks)
Term 2: End March to End May (10 weeks)
Holiday Class: Early June to End June (3 weeks optional)

Semester Two
Term 3: End June to Early September (10 weeks)
Term 4: Mid September to Mid November (10 weeks)
Holiday Class: Mid November to Mid December (3 weeks optional)
