Part-Time Mandarin for Adults

ELEMENTARY READING AND WRITING COURSE

FOR:
Those who have achieved basic proficiency in Mandarin.

AIM:
To develop the learner's ability to recognize and write simple characters, use them appropriately and effectively in speaking and writing.

OBJECTIVES:
Learners should be able to read Chinese texts accurately and write approximately 600 commonly used Chinese characters upon completion of the course.

CONTENT:

  1. Basic Chinese Characters
  2. Basic Vocabulary
  3. Basic Sentence Structures and Short Passages

FEES:
Registration: $20 for new student only
Course Fee: $380 per module
(Course fee are inclusive of instructional materials)

  • Fees are subject to 7% GST (except deposit)

  • Fees must be paid before the commencement of the course

  • Fees paid are neither refundable nor transferable unless documentary proof from a recognized medical authority is produced or the class is cancelled due to insufficient intake.

  • There will be no lessons on public holidays.
