Description:
Reading & Writing
Chinese Course is specially designed to meet the needs of
adults who wish to achieve proficiency in reading and
writing Chinese. Students build up their level of
proficiency from reading and writing sentences to short
passages, to selected news readings and business
correspondences. The course consist of a three-module
programme to :
- develop the student’s ability to recognize and write
Chinese characters, and use them appropriately and
confidently
- develop student’s accuracy in reading and understanding
Chinese text and words;
- 600 Chinese Characters for Elementary Level
- 1, 200 Chinese Characters for Intermediate Level
- 1, 800 Chinese Characters for Advanced Level
- develop student’s skills in writing Chinese fluently and
confidently

Registration: $ 50 for new student only
- Fees are
subject to 7% GST
- Fees must be paid before the commencement of the course
- Fees paid are neither refundable nor transferable unless
documentary proof from a recognized medical authority is
produced or the class is cancelled to insufficient intake
- There will be no lessons on public holidays
Teaching Materials
- each module is supported by
the latest edition of textbook/ practice book
Certificate of Proficiency
Participants who have attained
an attendance of 80% and above will be presented with a
Certificate of Proficiency at the end of the course.
