ADMISSION PROCEDURE

1. ENQUIRY

  • Walk-in at 101 Thomson Road, #03-25/26/27 United Square

2. APPLICATION
Step 1: Pre-registration:

  • Fill in Registration Form

  • Fill in Immigration forms - Form 16 & Form V36

  • Submit the following documents:

    1. Passport-sized photographs (2 copies)

    2. Photocopy of Student’s Passport
    3. Photocopy of Student’s Birth Certificate (original & English translated and notarized)
    4. Photocopy of Student’s highest Education Certificates and
       transcripts (original & English-translated and notarized)
    5. Bank statements (for students from visa-required countries only)

Step 2: Registration (upon acceptance of student by HUA):

  • Pay* registration fee of SGD535 (Hua Language Centre) or SGD500 (Hua Business School)
     [Note: Registration fee is non-refundable & non-transferable]

  • Fill in Student Escrow Confirmation Form and Standard Student Contract

3. ADMISSION

  • Student will receive offer letter and payment advice.

4. STUDENT PASS PROCESSING

  • Complete registration documents submitted via SOLAR+ to Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for processing of 2 – 4 weeks

5. STUDENT PASS APPROVAL

  • Student will be notified upon receiving In Principle Approval of Student Pass from ICA.

  • Collection of Student Pass from ICA. (For students above 15 years old, medical check-up may be required prior to collection of Student Pass).

  • Submit a photocopy of the Student Pass to Hua Language Centre or Hua Business School.

6. PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES

  •  Payment* of remaining school fees before course commencement.
    * Modes of payment: Cash / Cheque / NETS / Telegraphic Transfer
    Payment must be made in Singapore Dollars.

7. PLACEMENT TEST (1st Day of school)

  • Student takes a placement test on the first day of school to determine entry level.

  • Student will be placed in the appropriate class level within the first week of course commencement.

8. ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (1st & 2nd Day of school)

  • Students will be introduced to school personnel, facilities, term schedules, school rules, student services, student grievance procedure and other student administrative matters.

  • Students will be introduced to matters pertaining to living and studying in Singapore.
